Eight posters, one month, and a hunt through film, manga and music for the right reference

The challenge
Make something visually beautiful that also lands with impact, not one or the other, on a one-month deadline with no client and no brief but my own. A race against time as much as a design exercise.
The approach
Every poster started with a hunt for reference outside of graphic design itself, a shoujo manga panel, a Y2K magazine spread, a glitch-core music video, a tarot card illustration. The hardest part wasn't executing any single poster, it was finding eight different visual worlds that still felt like one series.

What held it together
A shared logotype, a consistent typographic voice across wildly different visual styles, and a willingness to let each poster commit fully to its own reference instead of softening it to match the others.
Outcome
Strong typography, layout and concepts
across all eight, a demanding personal study that paid off
